Our WebLink Sensors are built to require minimal setup. Most users will setup their sensors in less than 5 minutes the first time. Here are the steps to get started:

1. Buy your WebLink Sensor from weblinksensors.com

Choose from several WebLink Sensor options: carbon dioxide (CO₂), temperature, and humidity.

2. Plug in your sensor

Install your sensor on any Internet-enabled network connection: a business, home, greenhouse, university, etc. For most networks, you only need to plug the sensor into an available Ethernet port for the sensor to begin working.

As a general rule, if you are able to browse the Internet through a computer on your network, our sensors will work correctly. On most networks (which use DHCP), the sensor begins working almost immediately after being connected to the network. Other networks, which require a static IP address, require an additional 3 minutes of setup time. See the WebLink Sensor User Guide for more information.

3. Access your sensor data from anywhere using the Internet.*

Using your weblinksensors.com account, you can access your WebLink Sensor's data from anywhere. Just log into your Weblink Sensors account to view your data.

4. (Optional) Share your data with other users, or make your data public

Through your weblinksensors.com account, you are able to designate other users that are authorized to access data from your sensor. These "share" users sign up and access sensor data at weblinksensors.com completely free.

If you would like to make your sensor publicly available, you can designate your sensor "Public". You will be given a direct URL that allows anyone access to your data without logging in to the weblinksensors.com website. An example of a public sensor is accessible at the following URL:

*Subscription required. 3 months of subscription are free with sensor purchase, $7 per month thereafter. Subscription fees are charged to the owner on a per sensor basis. Share or public users are not charged a fee.
